Pat Brown, Owner
I performed my first solo mechanical repair at 14 years old in 1992 - a brake job on my mom’s Saab 900. I’m a vintage car fan and currently own vintage Saabs and Land Rovers. In 1998 I purchased a 1987 Yamaha YZ125 and I’ve worked on all sorts of motorcycles since.

I started working on Hondas in the mid 1980s for Glen Bare at the original Boone Honda on Depot Street in Boone, NC. Over the years that business went through many changes until I was inherited by Pat Brown with Motorcycle Medic.

The first time I ever turned a wrench I was 8 years old. I had a good bike but wanted to make it my own. I created a custom bike from 5 parts bikes - it had mountain bike forks, a big tire in the back, and a small tire in the front. Ever since then I knew I was a gear head!

These guys were amazing. I would highly recommend this shop. We needed a rear tire replaced since ours died a horrible death after many curvy runs. They not only changed the rear tire on my husband's Honda vtx1800 motorcycle but initially helped us take it off the trailer (with a severely flat tire) but rescued us from certain disaster when my husband went down trying to get it back on the trailer. They didn't have to do the repair as this shop is busy but they fit us in. Thank you to the gentlemen at motorcycle medic for your fantastic service.
